Brakes failed.
. As we left Pembrokshire the rain was falling there too and we travelled for five hours in torrential rain. I feared what i might find when i got back but was delighted to find all was well.
. We got stopped harf way back by the police who warned us our brake lights had stopped working , probably some of the huge holes in the roads caused it.
There was nothing we could do until we reached home. So we carried on only to find after running through a permanent pool in the road that the brakes failed to work and the car skidded to a halt and we nearly got stuck in a brook. It took us about harf an hour to get the car out of the mud then we travelled at snail pace using the gears to break slowly and the handbrake which down hill scared me to death.
