A sixty three year old man had been looking after his eighty year old mother for a number of years he was struggling and asked for help but it fell on deaf ears, he murdered his mother in desperation and is now up for manslaughter. A lot of unpleasantness could be avoided if people had some where to go to discuss there problems i think, but there is nowhere.
I remember when i got divorced and whilst wrapped up in my own pain i began to have suspicions that my son was taking drugs whilst hanging out with a few new lads on the block, he was certainly drinking too much, it was hard for us to help each other when we were both suffering, i looked around for help but there was none luckily he finally got the job he wanted and enjoyed and things sorted themselves out for him, but i remember the panic i felt with not knowing who to talk to or where to go for advise.
